message received. ok fine. i'm outta there. of course, i'm not elite by any stretch of the imagination, but i am sure as hell sick and tired of this shit. and i do not like the direction digg is heading. that article and the whole me-too-ness surrounding it has pissed me off way too much and i am too tipsy (and/or it's two forty seven in the damn morning) to craft an appropriate response but boy howdy when i calm down and wake up in the morning i am gonna be all over this.

Bear in mind, much of those comments come from trolls and users lacking participation in the trenches (by that I mean in the queue). Their comments and posts lack any rationality or logic. They're heated and emotional.

thanks Gerard, you are right. and i've not been "outta there", at least not quite yet, it's too deeply ingrained in my habits. but as the days go on i notice more and more of the people i used to look to for the good content, haven't been contributing nearly as much. maybe they're just busy?

and as to the positive post you referenced, it looks like it died at 199 diggs -- whereas the one i linked got nearly 3200 diggs and was a top story that day. so ... there's that.

i'm liking Mixx more & more every day.
